Brentwood Builders

Since its founding in 1994, Brentwood Builders has been delivering luxury custom homes throughout Middle Tennessee. Based at 1094 Wilmington Way, Brentwood, TN 37027, USA, the family‑owned firm was started by husband‑and‑wife team Ty Johnson and Judith Johnson and remains operated by the second generation, with their son Ryan now part of the leadership crew.

Ty Johnson began his career as a framer’s helper, progressed to lead framer, and later gained experience in commercial trim carpentry and construction supply while completing a BBA. He continues to work daily on job sites, overseeing each phase of construction to ensure precise workmanship. Judith Johnson brings a background in finance and executive management from her time as a CPA and BellSouth regional leader, and she now serves as a primary interior designer, guiding homeowners toward selections that balance aesthetics and budget.

The company provides a full suite of building services, acting as a custom home builder, general contractor, and remodeler. Clients can rely on the team to manage everything from initial design concepts through final finishes, coordinating all trades and ensuring that each detail meets the founders’ exacting standards.

Because every project is handled by a close‑knit family team with hands‑on expertise, homeowners receive personalized attention and clear communication throughout the building process. Whether constructing a new residence or renovating an existing space, Brentwood Builders leverages decades of experience to turn client visions into finished homes.
