Glass Container Homes

Glass Container Homes specializes in designing and constructing custom shipping‑container residences and ancillary structures. Based in Houston, Texas, the firm operates from 7802 Hoffman St, Houston, TX 77016, United States, and works with clients throughout the region who are seeking an affordable, modular alternative to traditional housing.

The company guides homeowners through every phase of a container‑home project, from selecting quality steel containers and determining the appropriate foundation to navigating permits, insulation, windows, doors, plumbing and interior finishes. Their portfolio includes a variety of completed units such as 320‑square‑foot and 640‑square‑foot homes, a Black Tiny Home, a Glass Container Office, and wooden‑container adaptations. In addition to full‑service construction, Glass Container Homes offers a hands‑on “first building class” where participants purchase materials and build their own home under the company’s supervision, learning cutting, welding and finishing techniques. Whether a family is looking to replace a rental, add living space for relatives, or explore a DIY build, the team provides practical advice, shared experience and, when requested, direct construction assistance to help turn the container‑home concept into a reality.
