Go Green Custom Homes

Go Green Custom Homes guides each project through a detailed, quality‑first process that emphasizes craftsmanship and environmentally responsible building. From the initial design conversation to the final walk‑through, the brothers‑run firm integrates green‑building strategies—such as rainwater harvesting, foam insulation, high‑SEER HVAC systems, energy‑efficient windows, LED lighting and ENERGY STAR appliances—while keeping budgets realistic. Their approach reflects a commitment to “keeping the Hill Country green,” and they operate as Certified Green Builders, applying standards that exceed typical green‑certification programs.

Founded by Jacob and Jared Gautreau, who have been constructing custom homes since 2004, Go Green Custom Homes draws on three generations of carpentry and building experience. The company’s philosophy centers on building lasting relationships with clients, ensuring that each homeowner feels heard and prioritized throughout the build. Transparency, honesty and professionalism form the foundation of every interaction, and the team’s hands‑on expertise helps translate personal visions into energy‑efficient, high‑quality residences.
