Hight's Buildings/Alliance Buildings

This is going to be a wordy post, but I think it is worth the read. I wish I knew all this from the beginning. I started looking last year for a building and decided to try to get something going this year. Searching led me to FB Marketplace. I kept seeing these metal buildings for $10,000-$12,000 for a building I wanted on my 22x30 concrete slab. I found out none of these companies are Indianapolis, let alone Indiana. Also, none of these metal builders could come onsite to give me a quote. They would just order material based off my measurements, and when it delivered, have some random out-of-state crew come install it. I also contacted a couple garage builders in Indianapolis, but they would cost 4 times that. I was ready to buy one of the metal buildings from a company in Ohio, but luckily found Hight’s during a Google search of builders in Indianapolis and reached out. Not only did Hight's give me a ballpark figure for what I wanted, but they also explained why I did not want one of the out-of-state builders. And, I was told and discovered while talking to those other companies is that, those metal buildings are just glorified carports bolted to the concrete with sides and roll-up doors. I hate roil-up doors. Hight’s didn’t hesitate to come out and get me a quote. Rob got me a quote on the spot and showed me what the building would looking like in a 3D cad design on his laptop. The quote was for a wood frame pole barn with a REAL garage door. I had a really good gut feeling about Hight’s so I paid a deposit to get the process going.The total build took about a week, and about 2 weeks after deposit was made. The first payment was the deposit. I then paid for material. Each payment after that was paid in stages as progress was made on the building. The final payment was made after a walk though with Rob upon completion. Rob communicated with me daily about when the crew would be there and what they expected to get accomplished on those days. Everything was on schedule and done in the time I was told. The building was mostly completed on a Friday with a few finishing touches to be done the following Monday. This gave me all weekend to go over the building. There were some missing screws and small things that needed taken care of. I made a punch list over the weekend to go over with Rob at the walk through. And, this one thing really impressed me a lot. Every single item I had on my punch list was done Monday before I did the walk through. That is thorough! They also left my yard clean and in order every day when they left. Having been through the whole process, from just starting to look, to having it actually done, I wish someone had explained all these details of garages vs metal buildings vs pole barns to me, along with what to expect on pricing. Garage prices are ridiculously high and metal frame buildings are just over-priced carports. Plus, out of state builders are not upfront with the hidden fees, which would make their buildings around $15,000 - $16,000. Hight’s price is fair and the work went quick and smooth. He is also In Indy, so he is around all the time. I am really glad I took the time to search and find Hight’s. I would not hesitate a second to do this whole process over again. Nothing about it was negative in any way. The garage/barn is amazing and is more than I imagined. I have a friend that was so impressed with Hight’s, that she ordered a building before mine was even completed. If you are considering a metal building, I highly suggest you call Hight’s for a free quote. You have absolutely nothing to lose. Check out my pictures and videos. Great company to work with

We used this company to redo our pole barn and it turned out fantastic. I would definitely hire this company again and the before and after pictures are just amazing. Rob and his crew are fantastic showed up on time worked and completed the job on time. The price was perfect the work was perfect and we could not be happier!

Had him put a privacy fence up build new stairs on my barn replace the shed doors he did a fantastic job he’s a decent talking guy I’ve used him to build me a barn before he did a super job on the barn this was about eight years ago and it still looking as good as it did they done it .Plan on using him again in the next few weeks

Rob done a real fantastic job the pole barn great to see Matt for the pole barn looks great I know five stars is a lot but I was well satisfied with him I'd use them again

Owner was great ...I honestly felt that he cared about the work he did for his customers. Altough I am not able to choose him to build my building because of the price and some other little issues. I would definitely recommend him to a friend or anyone looking to have a garage built . The only reason I gave it a 4 not 5 was because he didnt build for me . Thanks
