Through their Central Illiana Contracting arm Pat and his guys took on my very stupidly complex Victorian roof (two story, four gables, four valleys of which one was a compound valley where two intersected). Other roofers either blew me off altogether or gave me insane quotes (40k) because they didn't want to try to install a standing seam metal roof on this house. Originally scheduled to start early January, weather delayed things which was understandable given the single digit temperatures. They even tackled the unexpected find during tear-off that there were not two layers of roof but three one of which being cedar shakes. The shakes don't use a standard roof deck so this required installation of a new OSB roof deck. All of this was laid out in the quote as possible additions already if the roof boards were rotted.
Overall very pleased with the quality of their work and reasonable price.

They did a great job at a super price. Less than the 2 bids I had for conventional shingles. The guys were really nice and did a good job cleaning up the debris.

Also, we discovered a problem with my chimney during the roof installation and they helped me work out a solution that was creative and economical. As a person who knows nothing about this type of construction, it was much appreciated. It could have easily turned into an expensive.
