We put a deposit in on the shop we were going to have built. We put down 50%. Which was $12,000 in some change. Which we had to do in order to pull the permits because we needed the drawings and engineering. Unbinox to us and the new area we just purchased in The city changed the laws in January that metal buildings were no longer allowed in the city limits. A detached garage or shop had to be block and stucco matching the house. None of this was known until they denied our permit. Well Kodiak was able to stop production on it but will not give us a dime of our almost $13,000 back. Super shady Business, I understand not getting all of it back but not a dime of it is insane. Lawyers trying to find loopholes in the contract as we speak. And to take it a step further they were super pushy with the 50% down too as opposed to 10%. Stay far away!!
