L & J Contractors, LLC

L & J Contractors, LLC brings nearly three decades of partnership between owners Larry and Jon to every project they undertake. Based at 1571 Clemmons Rd, Cookeville, TN 38501, United States, the firm specializes in designing and constructing custom homes on client‑owned land throughout Putnam County and the surrounding Middle Tennessee region, including Cookeville, Baxter, Algood, Monterey, Cumberland Cove, Silverpoint, Rickman, Livingston, White County, Overton County, and Cumberland County.

The company offers a full suite of residential building services. Prospective homeowners can select from a portfolio of spec homes currently for sale, or work directly with the team to realize a unique design—whether that begins with a published floor plan, a magazine clipping, a sketch, or an entirely original concept. In addition to new‑home construction, L & J Contractors handles remodels and home additions, providing a seamless transition from existing structures to expanded living spaces.

Current projects showcase a blend of custom residences and spec homes, while past work includes new builds, remodels, and additions that reflect the clients’ lifestyles and the local character of the area’s rolling hills and lake views. By emphasizing precise craftsmanship and attention to detail, the firm aims to turn each client’s vision into a finished home that fits both the land and the community.

Homeowners interested in building, purchasing, or expanding a residence in the Cookeville area can contact L & J Contractors to discuss how the company’s long‑standing experience can support their project.
