Matt Baker Contracting

Homeowners in the Houston area who are ready to upgrade kitchens, bathrooms, or whole‑house spaces will find a partner in Matt Baker Contracting. Founded by U.S. Navy veteran Matt Baker, the firm blends disciplined, hands‑on craftsmanship with clear, direct communication throughout each project. Since its establishment in 2020, the company has completed more than 90 remodels and additions, ranging from full‑scale kitchen redesigns and bathroom upgrades to exterior renovations and custom‑home builds.

The team approaches each job as a collaborative design‑and‑construction effort. Clients work with Matt Baker from the initial concept through material selection and final walkthrough, ensuring that layouts, cabinetry, countertop fabrication, lighting, and flooring reflect both functional needs and aesthetic preferences. Typical kitchen remodel timelines run four to eight weeks, with options for partial or complete overhauls. Bathroom projects receive similar attention to detail, covering fixtures, tile work, and integrated electrical solutions.

Beyond interior updates, Matt Baker Contracting handles home additions, exterior remodels, and the construction of custom homes, all tailored to fit client budgets and schedules. The company’s service area spans six counties around Houston, allowing it to serve a broad segment of the regional market while maintaining a personal, on‑site presence—Matt himself remains directly involved rather than delegating to distant project managers.

For homeowners seeking reliable, veteran‑driven expertise and a transparent process from design through completion, Matt Baker Contracting offers a focused, hands‑on approach to turning renovation visions into reality.
