Matt Baker Contracting

Matt Baker Contracting was founded by U.S. Navy veteran Matt Baker, who brings the discipline of an electrician’s training to every residential project. Since opening its doors in 2020, the firm has completed more than 90 remodels and additions throughout the Houston area, handling each job personally from the initial consultation through the final walkthrough.

The company’s core services include kitchen and bathroom remodels, whole‑home renovations, and new‑home additions. Clients also rely on Matt Baker Contracting for exterior upgrades such as siding, roofing, and outdoor living spaces, as well as for custom‑home builds that require coordinated design and construction. The team works closely with homeowners to develop functional layouts, select materials, and integrate appliances and lighting, aiming to deliver results that match both style preferences and budget constraints.

Matt Baker’s hands‑on management style means the owner remains on‑site, ensuring clear communication and consistent quality without delegating to unfamiliar project managers. This approach is intended to give homeowners confidence that the contractor they speak with is the same person who oversees the work.

Whether a family is looking to modernize a kitchen, expand a living area, or construct a new residence, Matt Baker Contracting offers a full‑service general contracting experience rooted in military‑grade reliability and a track record of satisfied homeowners across Houston.
