Overall experience turned out great. The team that assembled my building was fantastic. The building was exactly as I had planned. Two minor things, i wish they would offer an upgraded regular door, and scheduling took a couples weeks longer than originally communicated. But over all I am very happy.
I can’t recommend Mayberry Built enough! They are true professionals who genuinely care about their customers. From start to finish, they make the process smooth, honest, and straightforward. It’s rare these days to find a company that combines top-quality work with such integrity, but Mayberry Built does exactly that. If you’re looking for a team you can trust and who will treat you right, these are the people to call.
After waiting 5 months after I gave them my deposit, they changed installer, didn't tell new installer about specifications I was promised. In 40 years of construction experience they are the worst contractor I have ever delt with. Oh wait, they are not a contractor or a manufacturer or a installer. They charge you 15% to cut every corner possible to try and verify what they do. Don't waste your time and money. It will cost me more than they're fee to get all mistakes back to code. Trusses are not welded as advertised, they're screwed together, not with bolts but self tapping screws.
I have some additional information about this review. Concerning the wait time. I waited two months after I sent pictures to verify concrete was finished. It was 5 months after I paid them the deposit, in that 2 months I had no contact with Mayberry. They wouldn't return my calls or emails. After I drove 6 1/2 hours to they're office, they told they had to change contractors. Now the building is up but not finished. They left a month ago, paid in full, saying they would return to finish. Now they won't return my calls. Furthermore, I didn't say trusses weren't welded. I said the braces for trusses weren't welded. After further inspection I found out that the main legs on the ends of the building are only connected with 1 12ga angle bracket, top and bottom. Walls will not handle a strong wind, definitely not a 140mph wind as they advise.
