Everything was great. From ordering to delivery. Josh and Katie both were responsive and helpful.

I have a lot to say so for those of you that don’t like to read, the cliff notes are at the beginning and the detailed review follows.

This is an incredible company, and I highly recommend them. Josh and Shawn make you feel comfortable and answer every question (even the ones you think might be silly). I put down a deposit, but unfortunately the timing and finances didn’t work out. Shawn refunded my deposit in full without hesitation. Truly an honest company with great people.

The details.
I contacted National Steel Buildings because I wanted to build a 30×70 hobby shop at my home. Within a day or two, Josh reached out, and we started discussing what I was looking to build. Right away, I could tell he wasn’t being pushy like many other companies. He was genuinely trying to help design a building that met my needs and my budget.

I had dozens of questions, and both Josh and Shawn answered every single one. They spent hours on the phone walking me through everything I could possibly need to know. Shawn even explained what to watch out for when shopping around at other companies which was extremely helpful. With so many steel-building companies out there, trying to sort through the good and the bad was overwhelming, especially without prior experience.

National Steel stood out from the rest because of their knowledge, willingness to explain things clearly, and candor. I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted my building to look like, but I wanted to take advantage of a rebate that was ending soon, so I put down a deposit. Shawn included in the contract that I had 30 days to finalize my plans and that the deposit was refundable if I ran into issues finding a builder or if anything else came up.

Over the next few weeks, I realized the timing and finances just weren’t going to work. I reached out to Shawn, and he was incredibly understanding. It was clear he had my best interest in mind and he wasn’t trying to pressure me or make things difficult. He refunded my deposit quickly and without any hassle.

I don’t have much experience in the metal building world, but I do know that finding a company as honest and trustworthy as this one is rare. They truly care about their customers and want what’s best for them. I highly recommend National Steel Buildings.

I am very pleased so far with the team I’m working with here. It’s still early in the process but they seem very willing to make sure I am getting what I am wanting in my purchase of my 40 by 80 steel building. Couldn’t ask for more. As this moves forward I will let you know how it works out but very pleased so far

Was a very good experience working with National Steel Building. Shawn was especially helpful to ensure the order, changes, delivery and construction went very smooth. All the people I worked with were very professional and responsive to my needs.

We recently hired National Steel building and ProTrades to erect a 200×200 ft steel building addition to our facility, and the experience was outstanding. After a frustrating ordeal with another contractor on our initial building (which took 6 months and had to be reworked due to structural issues), the ProTrades team proved to be a night-and-day improvement. They provided top-quality, precision-fabricated steel with a superior paint finish, and their experienced crew had the entire structure unloaded, staged, and assembled in just 7 weeks – truly remarkable for a 40,000 sq ft free-span building. Throughout the process, ProTrades kept us informed at every step, stayed on schedule, and delivered a final product with a perfectly straight roofline and flawless panels. On a scale of 1 to 10, we’d give ProTrades an 11 for exceeding every expectation. We highly recommend ProTrades for any steel building project – they earned our trust and then some! We are a DOD contractor that understands the value of perfection and NSB and Protrades achieved it for us.

I was looking for a steel structure without needing interior structural support to create an open concept home. after many contractors, architects and engineers whittled away at my building fund, National Steel made available the entire material package for my structure, roof and exterior walls, meeting my 40'x70' building needs with engineered drawings for a price that any singular vendor would have charged me just for one component. The process was swift and painless. I can't wait to take receipt of my structure!

Bought a 40x60 steel building. Shawn and Justin were great to work with. As expected with any building there were a few minor pieces missing but they got them sent out right away. Would highly recommend!
