R&R Dirtworks and Construction + septic system installation

These guys did the best job clearing our property. Excellent septic installation also.

We are a 4th generation general contractor from Oklahoma City and we needed some work done at our lake home on Beaver Lake. Our company routinely hires contractors for projects in Oklahoma City. Due to the distance we had to hire local contractors for our metal building project. The challenge we faced was that we had to build the building on a significantly steep slope. We initially hired a different contractor to do the work and it turned out to be a disaster and completely unsafe to construct a building on. The retaining wall was built with large concrete blocks, placed dangerously wrong, had no drainage, and no gravel was used between the dirt fill and the blocks. We were extremely disappointed with the outcome. We needed someone to look at the wall and tell us how to fix our problem. We sought referrals from our local friends and businesses and so many of them referred us to R&R Dirtworks and Construction. Mathew came out and assured us that it could be disassemble and rebuilt properly and took full charge of the project. His crew completely disassembled the previous retaining wall and rebuilt it using lasers, base gravel, drainage, and clean gravel. Absolutely 100% satisfied with the work! Very professional, extremely knowledgeable, fair and affordable, and they did the work in a very timely manner. I was so satisfied that I hired them to build an additional gravel area for my trailers. Don’t even hesitate. Hire them. You won’t be disappointed. I've used R & R Dirtworks for the last 26 yrs and have had nothing but good experiences with them. They always show up when they say they will and do a good job. I will use them in the future.

My go-to place for gravel, fill dirt, top soil and garden soil. Delivery is usually within a few days and the drivers are pretty skilled at dropping where you want the load. I use two different types of gravel, one for foundation work under blocks and the other for driveways. Both are consistent from R&R. I use the fill dirt and topsoil to create solid pads to hold the hill, then use the topsoil to build beds. The fill dirt hardens to a firm bed with all the rock in it. The garden soil is their own mixture and it is a really good foundation for planting. We use it in all our raised beds and garden areas.

2024:

This is THE best dirtworks service around. I'll tell you several reasons why:

1. Matt got us on his schedule for septic installation within our needed timeline which is very tight. He's a busy guy, but still made time for us.

2. Matt went ABOVE and beyond for us. We had a field of tree stumps, most within the septic zone but several outside and he took care of removing those for us. He did not have to do that, it wasn't part of the service, but he got it done and done really well. The area looks fantastic. He did not charge us extra!

3. Matt was very patient with us. We are in the process of a construction loan which comes with all sorts of hoops to jump through. We also do not have a local bank and no checks, so we needed to find a different way to pay him. He allowed us to pay through Venmo, but only half the payment went through because Venmo marked our account as suspicious due to the unusual activity. So, we had to figure out how to get the rest of the payment in cash which meant going through our bank's Western Union process and then bringing that to Matt. He was understanding and worked with us through this.

4. Matt is also going to do our pad and is fairly priced right in the middle of other local service providers. But that's not the best part, he tried to help us save the money by giving us some questions to go to our lender with. And he did save some money for us when we got clarification about gravel vs no gravel.

We've had a really positive experience with Matt at R&R Dirtworks and Construction and believe you will, too.

I noticed a comment about lack of response or delayed but don't let that deter you. He's busy and he's very short/brief in text messages but he WILL work with you and get it done on time and with excellence!
