I ordered my shop on Nov 9th 2021, i am still waiting for it to be delivered and installed. The lady which i guess is the owners wife said the lead time is 6-8 weeks. I explained that we would start building a house in Jan. and this was going to be used to store materials. She told me that they were usually right on time frame given. So the contract stated 6-10 weeks and it might take a little longer. So we are now on week 13 and no end at site. SUPERIOR outsources the building to places like Eagle and Carolina Carport which if you read their BBB reviews have not delivered on time for a couple years. You call Carolina Carport and you cannot get a hold of a human just voicemails, left about 15 of them. As i find out more info Superior lied to me about lead time. According to Carolina they do not guarantee any lead time. They can only tell you 3 days in advance when your order will be delivered. So someday i might get a call sometime in a week to 2 years and then i will know that i will get my building in 3 days. Also the lead time does not start when you order, they start when they request and you send site pics. This was not discussed at all during the conversation so that took 3 weeks to get concrete poured and for them to request site pics on Dec 3rd. Then i get the runaround that when i switched from rent to own to outright buying supposely it changed the order and the process started over. I discussed this with the Girlfriend that this might happen because we were closing on our house. At no time when the initial order was done and when i changed to purchase was this discussed. Below is the wording on the contract, Approx and Little longer do not amount to months. Be very wary of doing business with this company or you will get screwed out of your deposit, yes because that is not refundable even when they cant fulfill their part of the contract.

Response to their reponse, i did switch from rent to own to full cash payment. When i did this i specifically asked if this would mess anything up or cause a delay and they said no. We changed the billing terms like a week or so after order, it was before the pad was laid which according to them when the process starts so i am not buying their response. The fact is they did know carolina lead time and did not tell the truth and sold on a lie that the lead time was shorter to sell the building because they knew if they told the truth about carolina carport they would not get business. No where did they say or tell me that carolina requires so many orders in our area before they would deliver which is what caused the delay. Come to find out most companies do this so do your research on the actual company that they are resale for and check their ratings. If i would have done this i would have known. Once they sale the building to you they are hands off.

I was very impressed with Tom and his team. From beginning to end, the experience was a pleasure. Tom laid out all the requirements very clearly, on top of that he made suggestions but not demands. He took everything I said I wanted and worked it into one of the best prices I could find. I was on the fence between the tube framing and pole barn because of price. Tom’s quote came in right where I needed it to be and I am very glad it did. His install crew showed exactly when they said they would and knocked out the building in a matter of days. Each subsequent crew (concrete and garage door) showed up in sequence and we outstanding. I have had multiple friends who are in the building industry come in to the building to see if they could pick out anything that needed looked sub par or needed to be changed…none of them had a single bad thing to say. There are a lot of pole barn outfits out there, I am very glad I chose Tom and his team at superior outdoor structures

Superior Outdoor structures built our 30x30 shop. We are very pleased with this company and how they made the process very easy and affordable. They were timely in getting the job done and very good at communicating each step. The build quality and building materials were top notch. I would highly recommend them and will use them again when I'm ready to expand.

Great product at a great price!

So to start it off, I have two horses outside who will need shelter this winter and they live at my parents house. It was never discussed that we would need my parents to be payers on the carport. I knew it was sketchy when they were pushing for their land deed. It’s pretty sad written permission couldn’t have been used to make the deal right. The carport would be mine that I could move later on, not my parents whatsoever and it’s not their responsibility to be on any of my loans, deals, etc. We were throughly looking forward to do business and would do more business in the future until this all happened. My parents were completely fine with the carport being set out here. What a shame. Also to add, we put down a deposit which I’m sure we will never see again. I do not recommend using them if you are putting a building on a lease property, family property, or anywhere even if you have the permission.
