I had high hopes for these people they talked to good game in the beginning but once the money changed hands everything went downhill 30x41 building three garage doors I paid for a certified building and to meet the wind Zone I live in on the coast of North Carolina building failed concrete inspection first time then building failed construction inspection the doors they put on were not rated for any wind Zone that took another month and a half for them to get them replaced they actually seem to think it was my fault or the inspector because they didn't know the correct wind Zone you would think that would be part of them taking my money and having an engineer draw up the plans which really you know almost doubles the price of the building to have a certified building the bracing inside the building was not done to match the engineered drawings so that failed as well you know at this point they had all my money $31,000 or so I find them to be very rude and condescending on the phone their manager is a joke then after they finally got the doors put up correctly that they ordered there were no locks on them so my building had to stay unsecured for weeks and I had to order locks to have them put on I finally gave up with the folks there's a lot of people out there selling these buildings my nephew bought one from Southern metal in Kinston I wish I would have went with them they did an excellent job I will say the workers they sent out I think did a good job but they could only work with what we're given to them by the office the lady there that talks to you talks a good game she's absolutely no help along with her manager so I got bit just buyer beware oh by the way the building finally passed inspection but I'll enclose a few pictures of their workmanship that I had to repair myself. Along with filling in all the gaps between the roof and the side walls I paid for a fully insulated building I had to go and tape up all the seams myself they put it up in a way that anything falling down would go right behind the installation also get a load of that front window that I asked to be centered for symmetrical reasons what a great job I ended up having to have another one to put in beside it so it would look right
Whoever actually owns tarheel metal should be ashamed and get rid of their staff because they really don't know what they're doing or don't care about their customers like anything that you have to pay your hard-earned money up front for also beware of any company that won't let you put a review on their website wonder what they're hiding they know how disappointed and I'm happy I was at the end I sent them along email with all my concerns and pictures not even so much as a reply

They built me an awesome 30x40 bldg. concrete was 2000 less than another concrete guy and bldg was finished early. The inspector said it was built better than most he see's and well above min. requirment

No one there at the time. But do plan to stop by again

Still waiting on them to complete the they started in March. I got s leaking roof, both windows are leaking, need to replace some metal that was cut wrong and the cement is cracking

Signed contract on price and made down payments, got the concretepad installed and paid half the building price to order parts and now they are telling me that they are going to raise the price on me even though I signed a contract on the price. $1500 increase on the price. I don't care what the ordeal is about the cost of material is for them. I signed a contract and offered to pay for the materials earlier on and they said to wait considering lookuntil the concrete was poured. I'm considering taking this to small claims court.

Have called and emailed several times . No response for leaks. Customer service poor.

Nice people to work with

Great business. They did exactly what I wanted and they were very easy to work with. The guys that came and put my shop up(24x48) did it in a day and a half and did a fantastic job. Im very satisfied. I will use them again in the future for sure.

My husband and I went there around 3:45pm during the week and the front door was locked. We noticed a dog entering the side of the building. I walked around the side door and a woman was standing there smoking a cigarette and talking on the phone. I tried to ask her if they were open and she held her finger up for me to wait a minute, while she continued smoking and talking on the phone. 10 to 15 minutes later, she finally told us that their office was closed to the public and to please give her a few minutes before we tried to call and get a quote because she had to use the bathroom. Of course we took our business elsewhere.
