Communication has been extremely poor—honestly, terrible. When running a business and managing a project as large as a garage build, one would expect strong service and consistent follow-through. Based on other reviews, I feel like I’m dealing with a completely different company.

Communication was decent up until they were paid. After that, it essentially stopped. I paid extra for insulation and the silicone package, yet they have been out multiple times only to blame the concrete pour for ongoing water leaks. To this day, they have not provided a watertight structure.

I have followed up with Fidel multiple times—repeatedly. Each time, he assured me he would communicate, but only once did he actually call me back. That was on Friday, after I demanded to speak with the overall manager and was promised a return call. That call still has not happened.

Overall, I am extremely disappointed with both the lack of communication and the quality of craftsmanship. Buyer beware.

Great project and company. Team worked in cold rainy conditions and still did a fantastic job. Courteous, responsive and professional company. We love our metal building! Highly recommend UMB.

Great install crew, they had the shed up in less than a day!

The team from United Metal Buildings was very good to work with. From the office staff to the construction team in the field, it was an overall good experience. There was good communication throughout the process.

We had a 20x40 carport put up on an old slab and our experience was Just wonderful. Zaid and his crew of 3 arrived before 8am. They clearly work well together as all the unloading and set up went like clockwork. Then, a pause because the slab wasn’t level. Zaid took many measurements and called his supervisor, who explained the problem and proposed solution before they started the install. (Meanwhile the others were busy assembling the frame) The crew took ZERO breaks and by my estimate worked 11 hours, well into darkness. They constantly leveled and squared and measured. All with such care. As darkness fell, they used headlamps and did all the cleanup (including magnet). To a man, they were respectful, professional, and hard-working. Our carport is up and solid. We feel we got excellent value for our money. Highly recommended!

I have used this company for construction of 2 buildings, one for me personally, and one for our county EMS Service. UMB is excellent to work with, they have very competitive pricing, the customer service is great, and the construction crew was very professional and efficient. I would 100% recommend UMB for your building needs.
