Founded in 1960 as Monnig Industries, the family‑run operation that later became Universal Galvanizing grew from a modest leased shop in St. Peters to a modern, state‑of‑the‑art plant in Wright City, Missouri. In 1999 John Monnig acquired the assets of Universal Fabricators, creating Universal Galvanizing at its current location at 510 E South 1st Street, Wright City, MO 63390, USA. The facility houses three hot‑dip galvanizing kettles—two measuring 25 ft × 5 ft × 7 ft and a dedicated spin line—providing ample capacity to meet the demands of metal‑building projects throughout the Midwest.
