My name is Stephen D. Feagin, and I am the Associate Pastor for Affinity Missionary Baptist Church located in Cleveland, Ohio. I am also the Pastor of Building and Grounds Development/Upkeep. When our church decided it was time to renovate, I became Project Executive. A total church remodel; sanctuary, lower fellowship hall with new kitchen and bathrooms, upper chapel area/teen church, administrative wing and the installation of a new parking lot was decided.
After a lengthy process, Wojcik Builders was selected to be our General Contractor. I can say, without fear of contradiction that we made the right choice in selecting Wojcik Builders. From the very beginning, they were professional and personable. During our bidding process, they made it known they wanted to be a part of our renovation and promised to provide excellence in service. They stayed true their word. Every promise made they kept. Being a large project, at least large for us, with a budgeted cost of over 2.4 million dollars, Wojcik made certain that the project, never got "to big" for us. We meet every two weeks to be kept up to date on project advances and to be made aware of any project set backs. Being that we started our project at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020, Wojcik foresaw potential setbacks and made adjustments. Attempting to manage a church in the middle of a global pandemic was not easy, but Wojcik stayed focused of the project even when conditions and circumstances did not allow us too. They cared as much about the project as we did.
With their "Open Book" policy, accounting was up to date and current, we never found ourselves wondering "why this expense" or "where did the funds go". We were never concerned about sky rocketed costs or unfair financial practices. They kept us aware of what was happening at all times.
It is the little things that matter, like making suggestions that would save us money. They were always looking for ways to save us money. For instance, they moved a plumbing device to a different location that saved us money. What's interesting is that I would not have known, they could have installed the device according to the specs, and moved on but they made the recommendation and it was correct adjustment! If they felt a vendor was being unfair or was not providing excellence in service, they had no problems challenging said vendor. They are on your side. Phone calls were answered promptly and on the rare occasion that you got the answering machine, a return call, text or email was made within minutes.
I could continue on, but it would be unfair. I will say this, if you are looking at a remodeling or building project I recommend Wojcik Builders. If you are still in the planning stage, ask them to consult, you will not be disappointed.

We have worked on multiple project with Wocjik Builders through the years. The projects have always been completed on time, and the results have always been positive. When we start thinking about doing a construction project, Wojcik is always there to help with design ideas.
