Honest Abe Log Homes: Crossville Model Home

Honest Abe Log Homes follows a family‑centered, end‑to‑end approach to log‑home construction, guiding each project from initial design through full‑scale manufacturing and final erection. Based in Crossville, Tennessee, the company’s process is rooted in more than four decades of hands‑on experience, beginning with the first Honest Abe home built by founders Janie and Doug Smith in the late 1970s. Today, the third generation—April and Shane—continues to live in and build the same style of homes they grew up with, ensuring that every cabin reflects the same practical knowledge and personal commitment that defined the original vision.

Located at 448 Crabtree Rd, Crossville, TN 38571, USA, Honest Abe offers a complete suite of services for anyone interested in a log cabin: architectural design, custom manufacturing of log components, and full‑service construction. Their team works closely with clients to translate personal preferences into functional floor plans, then fabricates the log elements in‑house before coordinating with trusted erectors to bring the structure to life on site. Because the owners still reside in Honest Abe homes, they bring authentic, lived‑in insight to each project,
