JM Buildings, LLC

JM Buildings, LLC specializes in custom home construction that blends the durability of metal structures with the comfort of traditional residential design. Based at 7733 FM 2038, Bryan, TX 77808, USA, the family‑run firm serves the greater Brazos Valley area, offering everything from fully insulated barndominiums to conventional custom homes and larger metal‑building projects such as boat‑ and RV‑storage facilities or commercial warehouses.

Founded in 2006 by Jerry and Amanda Myers, the company grew out of early work on simple metal shops before expanding into larger residential and commercial builds. Their experience includes designing and erecting barndominiums—a style that combines a metal‑building exterior with interior finishes comparable to a standard home. Clients can select from pre‑designed floor plans or collaborate on a completely new layout, with the team guiding the process from initial discovery through final construction.

The typical workflow begins with a face‑to‑face meeting to capture the client’s needs, followed by a detailed quote based on those specifications. After contract approval, JM Buildings coordinates material procurement, coordinates local vendors, and schedules selection meetings for finishes, ensuring each project reflects the owner’s vision. Jerry oversees the structural and erection phases, while Amanda focuses on interior design and finish selections.

By handling both the metal‑building envelope and the interior build‑out, JM Buildings provides a single point of contact for customers seeking a low‑maintenance exterior without sacrificing the amenities of a custom‑designed home. Prospective owners looking for a hands‑on, locally rooted builder can contact the firm to discuss their project scope and receive a personalized proposal.
